Registered Nurse Tami at SALT. Hydration & Wellness
I was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa where I lived for 43 years. I just recently moved to Panama City Beach, Florida in 2024. I graduated with my associates degree in nursing in 2018 from Hawkeye Community College. I worked as a nurses aid for over 10 years and worked as an LPN for a few years before transitioning to a Registered Nurse. With over 22 years of experience in healthcare, Tami Harkrider, RN, has built a dynamic and
impactful career rooted in medical-surgical nursing. Her dedication to patient care, clinical precision, and leadership has defined her journey across a variety of healthcare settings.
The majority of her career has been spent in med-surg nursing, where she developed deep clinical expertise and became a reliable leader among her peers. In her role as a charge nurse, Tami led nursing teams with confidence, ensuring safe, efficient, and compassionate care for diverse patient populations. Her professional path has also taken her into unique and challenging environments, including serving as a registered nurse at her hometown county jail. There, she provided critical care to an underserved population, navigating complex medical and psychosocial needs with professionalism
and empathy.
In addition to her clinical roles, Tami broadened her scope within the healthcare
industry by working as a medical equipment representative, delivering and educating post-operative orthopedic patients on essential recovery equipment. This role reinforced her belief in the importance of continuity of care beyond the clinical setting.
Currently, Tami brings her wealth of experience to Salt Hydration & Wellness, where
she focuses on preventive health, wellness optimization, and personalized care. Her ability to connect with clients, understand their needs, and apply her clinical expertise makes her a trusted resource in the community.
Known for her integrity, warmth, and dedication, Tami remains passionate about
advancing health and wellness through both traditional and innovative approaches to care.
